Does your life have meaning?
If you are anything like me then you try to distract yourself (which is made easier with social media) whenever this question to mind. It’s easier to watch cat videos than have the ‘talk’ with ourselves. It’s similar to the performance evaluation with your boss except that it’s not compulsory and you can get by (not live to the fullest) without it.
Parenting kids nowadays is a herculean task, considering that the coming generation is niftier, more well-informed and have a cascade of information and communication available to them from around the world.
This year started with the plan to volunteer 3 months in Thailand at Peace Revolution HQ’s office. What it started as 3 months has became the whole year traveling and learning things, that’s why i took inspiration to write 12 things to stay more on the present moment and live happier than before.
AM I HAPPY?
I have always considered myself to be lucky. I was born in a loving family, I’ve never had health issues, I’ve always enjoyed the company of great friends, I’ve been able to pursue the career I chose and I ‘ve had the opportunity to develop all the hobbies I dreamt of. However, many times I struggled to be happy like if having all these things wasn’t enough.
The Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard has been acclaimed to be the happiest man on earth. Do you know by whom? Well, some cognitive scientists of the Laboratory for Affective Neuroscience in Wisconsin made this affirmation after showing that Matthieu Ricard, a highly experimented meditator, has extraordinarily high levels of upbeat activity and almost invisible levels of negative emotions.
What keeps us from being happy and where is the happiness we have always been looking for?

In February Peace Revolution, represented by Peace Architect Manuela Puscas, went to beautiful Budapest for the first time. Over 120 people of amazing diversity joined the events, from fifth graders and students to university professors, hypnosis and Gestalt therapists, yoga teachers, economists and other professionals, trainers, social workers and local NGO members.
