And that’s right for them, because they choose to live happily with that premise. For other people who are not monks, desires are part of our essence. It’s certainly not a coincidence that both the words ‘medicine’ and ‘meditation’ come from the same etymological root: the Greek prefix “med”, which alludes to a medium point in between two opposites or, in other words, to that subtle state of balance we hear so much about in health blogs and yoga lessons but rarely get the chance to truly interiorize.  In this brief post I’ll share my experience of meditation as the most effective, universal and low-cost medicine I have ever tried.

They say “you cannot find peace in Google as peace is inside”. Once we have established peace within ourselves we can spread it to our surroundings. This is the premise behind the inner peace workshop arranged by South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) on 2nd of October 2014 at the EMK Center, Dhaka. The event Peace In, Peace Out was a unique initiative by any youth group in Bangladesh as it incorporated lectures and guided meditation as a means to cultivate inner peace.

Between 3rd and 11th of November Peace Revolution was in Sicily, Caltanissetta to take part in “Lets ACT” training course organized by the Italian agency under the new Erasmus Plus program.

Peace Architect Manuela Puscas and Peace Agents Cristina Matei and Matt Witt took part in the activities designed to explore the idea of social entrepreneurship and the culture of peace.
