We all know them. Negative thought patterns are what keeps us from living a happy, fulfilled, stress-free life. Our thoughts have a huge impact on our emotions and affect the way we behave. Once we observe and identify our negative thinking patterns, we can learn to replace them with more optimistic and empowering thinking habits.
This year started with the plan to volunteer 3 months in Thailand at Peace Revolution HQ’s office. What it started as 3 months has became the whole year traveling and learning things, that’s why i took inspiration to write 12 things to stay more on the present moment and live happier than before.

AM I HAPPY?
I have always considered myself to be lucky. I was born in a loving family, I’ve never had health issues, I’ve always enjoyed the company of great friends, I’ve been able to pursue the career I chose and I ‘ve had the opportunity to develop all the hobbies I dreamt of. However, many times I struggled to be happy like if having all these things wasn’t enough.

Currently, advances in medicine, using technologies and scientific progresses in the treatment of diseases, have achieved an increase in the world population life expectancy. Nonetheless, mental health is still a pending task, screaming for our attention, especially considering that an altered mind is the main cause of death and incapacity: murders, suicide, car accidents and psychiatric illness, are daily news.
Buddha was asked what he had gained from meditation. His answer was: “Nothing! However, let me tell you what I have lost: anxiety, anger, depression, insecurity, fear of old age and death.”
