Some years ago I read 13,99€ by Frédéric Beigbeder, a French publicist who wrote this novel as a biography, which took him to get fired after its publication. Octave Parango, the main character and alter ego of the writer, is a successful creative executive in the advertising industry, one of man “who decide what the public will want tomorrow”.
Years ago, when I was in a yoga class, we were asked ‘How much attention do you pay to your hands and feet?’ The instructor went on to remind us that our hands and feet worked for us day after day. But did we ever thank them? Did we ever express our gratitude?
The dynamics of a meaningful relationship are rarely easy to portray. Each of us has a unique understanding of what a relationship means. John Lennon
It was usually before or after the dinner when a group of people took a blue cushion each and, one by one, climbed up, in the direction of a church. They all gathered in the refreshing, green yard just behind the church in a search for the inner peace. That’s how I will remember our meditation group that we unofficially formed in the youth exchange Film for Inclusion in Topola, Serbia.
Indra’s net, in Hinduism and Buddhism, is a metaphor used to illustrate the philosophy of interdependence. The image associated with it is beautiful! A net where every node is a jewel (diamonds) representing life, and each jewel reflects all the others.
