I Find Peace Like This
In February Peace Revolution, represented by Peace Architect Manuela Puscas, went to beautiful Budapest for the first time. Over 120 people of amazing diversity joined the events, from fifth graders and students to university professors, hypnosis and Gestalt therapists, yoga teachers, economists and other professionals, trainers, social workers and local NGO members.
Imagine your country goes through a severe conflict, economical crisis and collective anxiety that gets so strong you can even smell it in the air. Ask yourself what would you do? Would you run around panicking and contributing to the overall madness or would you be a tiny candle light and little island of peace in the sea of war?

One evening in Mooktawan, we were watching a video of Peace In Peace Out (PIPO) event in Africa. Just when the screen showed a monk sitting on the beach, he exclaimed – “THAT could be Cox’s Bazar!” Thus was Carsten’s vision and very soon he convinced me to have the same dream – to bring Peace Revolution to Bangladesh. And we did it! Three months later, crossing many obstacles, we co-created some meditation events to spread the message of mindfulness in our networks in Bangladesh.
Geneva Peacebuilding Platform (GPP) Annual Meeting “What Future for Peacebuilding? Needs, Policy, Action” took place in Geneva at the Maison de la Paix on the 21st November 2014.
The PEACE REVOLUTION MENA Salam Fellowship will take place in Turkey, 13-17 March 2015. The leitmotif of this second edition? MENA Salam Fellowship: Towards a New Peaceful Coexistence. 40 young leaders from Middle East and North Africa will gather to inspire each other and exchange best practices on building a sustainable peaceful coexistence in the MENA region.
They say “you cannot find peace in Google as peace is inside”. Once we have established peace within ourselves we can spread it to our surroundings. This is the premise behind the inner peace workshop arranged by South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) on 2nd of October 2014 at the EMK Center, Dhaka. The event Peace In, Peace Out was a unique initiative by any youth group in Bangladesh as it incorporated lectures and guided meditation as a means to cultivate inner peace.
Peace Revolution European Fellowship 2014 edition, a 7 days Meditation Retreat for European Youth, took place in Lede, Belgium at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Benelux.

Between the 28th of March and the 30th of April, young leaders from six African countries came together, united by their commitment to transforming the ideal of building sustainable world peace into a tangible reality.
