Loving is the best action we can take in life. Love is directly opposite to fear, and when we choose to love, this helps us get rid of our fears. Place little reminders of love in your life and you will transform yourself from the inside and others will follow.
Hug at least 7 times per day. Some studies have shown that all of us need at least 7 hugs per day, so remember to hug all of your friends, your dog and your neighbour! The more hugs, the better. Hugs also make us more open towards others.
Tell your loved ones you love them. You may think your mother knows you love her, and you are probably right, but if you leave her a cute reminder, like a note on the fridge or a bouquet of flowers, she will be pleased to know it once again.
See goodness in others. It is obvious life is good and bad at the same time, but if we concentrate on the good things, they will be highlighted in our lives. Once we see goodness in others, we will appreciate them more. Thank your co-worker for doing a report for you, thank your girlfriend for cleaning the house, and tell your grandma she cooks the best food ever.
Love the people you don’t know. It is easy to divide the world into “us” and “them”, but if you think about it, all of us have impact on one another. And if Bill dumps trash into the river, the trash will sooner or later float near my home. We are all connected, so why not learning to love every single creature?
Love change. When one door closes, another door will be open, and as Rumi said “The wound is the place where the light enters you”. No matter if things come for a reason or not, it is up to you to decide how they will affect you – will you break or will you learn and become stronger?
