EBC Rwanda 2025: An Unforgettable Gathering in the Service of Peace Builders

After Ibadan, it’s Rwanda’s turn
The Empowerment Boot Camp (EBC) continues its successful momentum following Ibadan (3rd largest city in Nigeria). This time, the Peace Clubs of Rwanda organized their own EBC. This event, hosted by the World Peace Initiative Foundation (WPI), brought together a new generation of young leaders passionate about peace and personal development. Held a few weeks ago, it provided a unique setting to strengthen the skills of 28 participants. The EBC in Rwanda took place on 11-13 July 2025 at Muhazi Beach Resort in Rwamagana District.

A regional dimension for strengthened solidarity
EBC Rwanda not only attracted young people from various Rwandan provinces (Nyamata, Muhanga, Kicukiro, Nyagatare, Kayonza, Huye, Kigali) but also welcomed members of the Peace Club from Burundi. This regional participation greatly contributed to building bonds of solidarity beyond borders, reminding us that peace is a common cause that transcends geographical divisions.

Transformative workshops focused on inner peace
Trainers led sessions centred on personal development, but especially on meditation and inner peace. Participants learned to cultivate a balance between their inner well-being and their role as peace builders in their communities.

An environment conducive to concentration and reflection
To ensure full immersion, a quiet space was specially chosen. During the three days of the camp, participants set aside their mobile phones to fully dedicate themselves to developing their inner peace.

Powerful testimonies and renewed motivation
At the end of the camp, many participants shared the profound impact of this experience on their personal and collective journeys. Many expressed gratitude for this special time, which allowed them to leave more inspired, united, and above all, determined to continue their commitment to peace and development in their respective communities.

Towards a sustainable and peaceful future through youth
WPI confirms the importance of equipping young people with the necessary tools to become key actors in building lasting peace. By strengthening their confidence, skills, and cohesion, these young people are preparing to play a major role in their region.
