I am a Romanian PhD student architect interested to enjoy the pure state of mindfulness in daily life. Passionate by vegan cooking and nutrition on the one side, and by "architecture" on the other side, I manage to find a relation between them and to analyse its aspects in my research "City and food: public space as a dinning room".
"No matter where you go, there you are..."
I am a psychologist, from Minas Gerais - Brazil. I have a long journey in the study and discoveries about the gestalt system that is the mind and the body. With the humility of being a human being, my work is personal, subjective, always putting me in the humble position of an apprentice, understanding daily how to deal with individual problems and conflicts by systemic sociological standards.Neuroscience, child development, pedagogy, eating behavior, naturopathy, body psychotherapy, meditation and mindfulness are some of my field of research and study.
I learned and I taught a lot in my journey so far, my job is teaching courses, coach people, lectures and I love counseling for one hour in conventional clinical psychology.
"It does not matter how it looks, it matters how you see". That was my inspiration to start meditating. Too many things started to seem hardly understandable and that brought confusion. Confusion in the mind, which results as a confusion in life. How to deal with it? For me, a realistic law graduate, everything seemed to be easy solved by just thinking and re-thinking. Well, now I know that it's not. Sometimes the easiest way to find the most important answers is simply to stop thinking. Meditation teaches to stop the mind and enjoy the moment of clarity.
Driven by curiosity and questions about life, I got easily involved in the "sect" of meditators. At some point of life, everyone of us encounter questions about life: am I happy?, what's the goal of life? what is happiness?. Tortured by these unanswered questions, I managed to make meditation my habit. And...to find the answers, I was looking for.
I wish everyone to find this tool. As some questions cannot be answered by Google 😉
